Today’s guest is Madhuri Shekar, an award-winning writer for stage and screen! Madhuri has had an incredible career and her passion and joy for writing is so clear from our conversation. She trained at multiple writing programs, including an MFA from USC and a degree from Juilliard, and we loved hearing how her plays opened doors to work on television shows like The Nevers on HBO and the upcoming Three Body Problem for Netflix! She also shared how her Indian background shapes her writing and the importance of sharing different cultural perspectives in the stories we watch on stage and screen.
